Fiber Tuesday 38

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  Where has the year gone?  It's December already.  It doesn't seem possible that the blog is 10 months old, that Fiber Tuesday has been around for 38 weeks, or that Christmas is just a few weeks away.  I know we are all swamped right now so I'm not going to do a lot of chatting, let's get this party started.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts
This week I stepped out of my comfort zone and did a video of me free motion quilting.  I am the first to admit that my quilting skills aren't up to par.  I did it because I had gotten a message asking if you could quilt on a Necchi Supernova Julia.  The person was afraid that they needed to go buy a new machine.  So out of that comfort zone and off to video.

I told you last week that I was going to do the Quiltville mystery.  Well this weekend I bought the fabric that I needed and shared my color palette.

My log cabin pattern is on sale for 99 cents right now.  You can click here to head over to Craftsy to grab it up while it's cheap!  If you were the person who used my Amazon link to purchase a Havel's cutter THANK YOU!  Shopping Amazon via my links is a great way to support the blog without costing you anything more.

Show me what you've been up to!!

Quilty Curtains by Busy Hands
I'm so jealous of Myra over at Busy Hands quilting.  She had time to sew for herself.  She whipped up this cheerful curtain for her sliding glass door.  It's important for all of us who blog about our favorite crafts to take time to do it for ourselves too.
