Fiber Tuesday 52

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday! I hope everyone's week was a good one.  Since I was on vacation I used that time to work on some new patterns.  I had a bit of quilter's block but after some great suggestions on Facebook I was able to sit down at the machine and get some sewing done.  I hope you all like them as they come out.

I've been working on my FMQ skills.  Free motion quilting isn't my strong suit but I'm not ready to give it up and quilt with my credit card either.  One way I practice is to make pot holders.

I don't think it's any surprise that I love vintage sewing machines.  I also love learning more about them and sharing that knowledge.  This week I got to review the movie Still Stitching. We both really enjoyed it and watched it several times.

This morning I brought back an old post.  I shared four tips on how to get the perfect quarter inch seam.  Others having been adding to list in the comments so there are a lot of ideas over there.

Myra linked up this sweet baby quilt.  It's all from her stash.  She even quilted it on her grandmother's machine.  I just love it.
