Even though everything that could go wrong with the video did go wrong the 8 point star block is very simple. You'll need to make sure you cut accurately and sew accurately. That's the biggest trick to this block. Also be sure not to stretch your bias edges.
Supplies & Cutting
1/4 yard each of two coordinating fabrics Forest Ombre Scrolls and Midnight Ombre Scrolls Cut 1 4 inch wide strip from each
1/3 yard of setting fabric Ecru Ombre Scrolls Cut (1) 8 1/8 inch Square, cut this square into quarter squares, (4) 5 1/2 inch squares
Standard Sewing Supplies
I know the video is long but I didn't want anyone not able to sew the block. A beginner to an advanced quilter should have no problems sewing this 8 point star together. You can fast forward through the parts you don't need to watch.
