Fiber Tuesday 61

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  It's been a cloudy wet day here in Kansas.  From the sounds of it, this is going to be the weather for the whole week.  I'm going to deal with it by locking myself into my sewing studio.  I have a lot to get done and is there better medicine for a springtime cold than sewing?  That's right I made it through the winter with barely a sniffle and have been battling the crud since Friday.  I thought it was just allergies so it got a good foothold while I did nothing.  Enough of that, let's see what fiber goodness happened.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This post may contain affiliate links.  Ordering from my links cost you nothing and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

This last week I was part of a blog hop book release.  It was a lot of fun to do the post about Modern Selvage Quilting.  As fun as the post was seeing the winner of the giveaway get all giddy was even better.

Scrappy Quilt by Pink Doxies
Pink Doxie shopped her scrap bin to knock out this wild quilt.  Isn't it amazing what we can do with what others throw away?  I don't know of anyone but quilters who keep that amount of little pieces of fabric around.  I truly believe we quilters, well our ancestors, were green before being green was cool.

  1. Thank you, Melissa. It's always so thrilling to see your own work somewhere else, and I appreciate your link up opportunity every week. As for your healing regime of sewing, I'm in full agreement. Rest, stitch, and recover. Add lots of fluids, and don't forget a nap when needed. I hope you're feeling better soon. A running nose while sewing is a pain.
