Quilter's Book Club Starting June 1 - The Quilter's Apprentice

I've fallen in love with the Elm Creek Quilters book series.  I have been wanting to talk about these books, there are twenty of them all together, since I read the first one.  I asked on Facebook if anyone was interested and there was some interest so I decided we could do it.  What I didn't realize until just a week or so ago was there are many of you who read the blog but aren't on Facebook.  I certainly don't want to leave anyone out so I'm putting it out to all of you here too!  We are starting with The Quilter's Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini.

This is the first book in the series and we will be reading them in the order they were written which isn't chronological order.  Jennifer says that she never intended to make a series out of this book and certainly didn't think it would go twenty books long so we could truly read them in either order but I picked the order they were written.

You'll need to get the book.  Check with your library to see if you can borrow it from them.  If you would like to purchase either a hard copy or a digital copy I would love for you to use my link.  The single book is available as a Kindle download and paperback through Amazon.  The other one listed below is only available in hardback book and it's the first three books of the series packaged together.

After you have your book, or while you wait for it, you'll need to join the Google community.  Since not everyone has a Facebook account and the blog doesn't work well for conversation I went with a group on Google.  When June 1 rolls around I'll post some discussion topics in the group and we'll go from there.  All future posts about the book club will be in there as well.
