Fiber Tuesday 66

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.  I know some of us are holding up only because we have air conditioning.  I don't mind the heat so much but Kansas humidity can be stifling.  I've been stepping out of my comfort zone and using treadle sewing machines more.  I have been doing my free piecing border on one.  I figured others are going to be inspired by Paul's post on overcoming a fear of treadle sewing machines I should be too.  It's been a learning experience but I'm enjoying it.

The Eclectic Abuela showed off this great quilt.  I picked one of the up close shots so you could see they are string blocks!!  I know how much we all love to make them.
