Fiber Tuesday 69

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  I thought summer was for relaxing on the beach with a cold drink in my hand.  That is a pipe dream.  This last week we were running full out trying to tackle a huge project here at home.  It's mostly tackled but now I'm a week behind on sewing.  It didn't help that we took one day this weekend to go to an auction and the other day to hang out with the grandbabies.  I can't complain really though family time is important and spending time with Paul doing something fun.

Paul too the week off from blogging so he could put his full focus on getting our cargo running again.  I can't thank him enough for working all day and coming home to do that.  He certainly worked hard this week.

Friday was the release day of the new block of the month. We are doing a bonus block this month that will go out this week so be sure to head over and sign up for that mailing list.

Two weeks ago a friend posted a link to an auction.  We looked at the sale bill and finally the night before decided we would go.  We hit the motherlode and as my title suggests it was a motherload as well. ;)

Kathleen bit the bullet and did what people had been asking her to do, she wrote a pattern for that great chevron quilt.  I'm thrilled that you all were checking it out and hopefully supporting her!
