Fiber Tuesday 81

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  Well I found out this week that my scrap selection is getting a little thin.  It's looking like I will have to do some shopping at the LQS.  You can tell I'm really sad about that can't you?  I've got a list going of what I'm low on so I know what color families I need to pick up.  I've done a really good job of sewing my stash lately which is why it is short.

Paul has spent a lot of time talking about tension over the last few weeks.  This week he brought it all together by telling us how bobbin tension, top tension, and balanced stitches all go together.

This morning I shared a great way to use up leftover string blocks, a string block mug rug. These go together so quickly, under 30 minutes.  I highly suggest these as holiday gifts.  I mean ALL holidays.  Whip some orange and black up for Halloween, orange, brown, and red for Thanksgiving, etc.  String blocks are made with scraps so they don't cost much to make either.
