Fiber Tuesday 91

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  It's less than a week until Christmas.  There's a whirlwind of activity going on here in the quilting room.  I've got quilts in various stages of finish and Paul's working on kitchen sets for friends and family.  I'm looking forward to Wednesday when I officially go on vacation.  That will give me a chance to get caught up. Since we won't be doing Fiber Tuesday next week I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas or whatever winter holiday that you celebrate.  I hope you are surrounded by love, laughter, and yummy food.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This post may contain affiliate links.  Ordering from my links cost you nothing and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

Paul shared a great breakdown of why sewing machines break thread. If you struggle with knowing where to check there's a printable flow chart to help you diagnose the issue.

I shared my progress on the En Provence quilt. I also shared one of the grandsons' quilts in the post since that's really what I focused on this week.

How To Backstitch On A Treadle

Missy from Missy's Homemaking shared a video on how to backstitch on a treadle.  It's a question that often gets asked of treadle sewists.  I've even asked Paul how you do it because I couldn't figure it out.  Now you have a demo of how to do it.
