Fiber Tuesday 97

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  We made it through the second grandson's birthday over the weekend.  He was thrilled with his quilt.  He insisted on having his picture taken with it and his new Hot Wheels car.  Not only did he want his picture he needed to approve it because he wanted to make sure all of the fabrics were in the picture so nothing got left out.  He's four!  He got his picture and after lunch he and I played in his blanket fort.  I used a poly batting to keep it from keep it light.  It didn't make it any less warm it was the first time I got sweaty playing cars.  It was a blast though.

Paul continued on in his series of how to resurrecting vintage sewing machines.  This week he showed us how to clean the chrome.

Friday night I did a little video of Paul doing some FMQ on the grandson's quilt.  He was in such a great rhythm I wanted to capture it.  I shared it on Instagram and Facebook and as of Monday night over 11,000 people have viewed it.  I uploaded it to YouTube so I could share it here and in email.

Tanya's Finished Mini Swoon Quilt
Tanya shared her sewing room update.  This cute little quilt is hanging in her room.  I so need her to come visit my sewing studio.  I can barely walk through there right now.  Plus I'm missing my rotary cutter and I'm pretty sure the kitty stole that.  He likes doing that kind of stuff.  He needs to learn that just because sewing is in his name doesn't mean he can actually sew.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!
