Fiber Tuesday 106

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  How was everyone's week? This has been an exciting week.  I had my first post go viral!  It's amazing!!  The bowl cozies have always been a big draw but it's a steady thing.  The magic 8 half square triangle has brought as much traffic as the bowl cozies in one week!  I'm amazed and if you are one of the people who pinned it THANK YOU!!

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This post may contain affiliate links.  Ordering from my links cost you nothing and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

This week I showed how to display some of your favorite fabric on a pair of shoes.  You read that right I DIY'd myself a pair of sewing themed shoes

Paul showed us how to rewire a vintage sewing machine.  It's a common thing that has to be done with the older machines and it's not that hard to do either.

This week's quick quilt block was the hourglass block, aka quarter square triangle block.

Tanya's OMG April Goals

I'm so glad I have you all in my life.  Sometimes I get to thinking I'm over here just rocking the world and then I read something like Tanya's goals list and realize I might be a slacker.  Holy cow girl when do you sleep?

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!

  1. Thanks for the feature of my Pineapple Mug Rug. It is done, but I have not featured it on my blog yet (but I already started another one)! By the way, I do sleep--last week I was on Spring Break so I had more sewing time. I do NOT clean my house (my hubby does because he is unemployed) and my daughter is go at college which means lots of sewing time for me! :0)

  2. I'm so busy with school right now that all I can do is look at everyone else's projects--I'm enjoying them.
