Fiber Tuesday 109

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  How was everyone's week? May is here and I wish someone would turn the furnace on outside and shut the sprinkler system.  It has been wet and cold for so many days I wasn't sure what the bright yellow thing was in the sky.  I made it through the rain pretty well, just a little water in the basement we were able to keep up with but those down stream from me didn't fair as well.  I've seen many who have lost things they had stored in their basements and some who found their tubs that were up on blocks and 2x4s floating.  We certainly can't complain about an inch of water in one section of the basement.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This week Paul showed us how to rewire a Singer 3 Connection Terminal Block.  This is the most common power terminal that Singer used and he takes us through the changes over the years.  Singer really did stick with one thing for a long time and just changed it slightly over the years.

This week I just did my video on Facebook.  I'm trying something new, giving it a full week on Facebook before putting it on YouTube.  I am going to embed it below but if it doesn't work let me know so I can kill that idea. lol

Scrappy Stars In Long arm Frame
This week Kathy is our top viewed link.  I know she's showing off her long arm work, which is awesome, but what I noticed in her quilt is all of the fabrics either I have in my stash or have had in my stash.  To me fabric choice is very personal so seeing someone pick what I have picked makes me smile.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!

  1. Funny that our scraps are similar. I LOVE to create something from pieces of fabric that others have given to me or thrown away (clothes too!) Have a great week, Mel!

  2. That is such a coincidence that you both have the same fabrics! I guess great minds think alike! :)
