Fiber Tuesday 113

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  How was everyone's week? I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day and spent time with family and friends remembering those who we have lost.  We spent the majority of the weekend in the basement.  We have walls with sheet rock and they have been taped and mudded.  The cabinets are installed and have been treated so I can paint them.  I have the bottom set primed and the doors for the upper set painted.  I am tired. lol  I have spent many a Tuesday night with the live tweet crew tweeting about Fixer Upper and Hometown.  Those folks make it look so easy.  I can't wait to show it off though so I will be down there a lot this week painting.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

I had Paul pretty busy this week so he didn't get a post done.  I know what he's working on and when I let him out of the basement you all will love it.

I was going through some old posts to see why they never really caught on.  One of them that stuck out was my stabilizing ruler post.  The video did well on YouTube and I recently redid it for Facebook and it did well.  When I looked at the post I realized why, there was nothing there.  Ahh, newbie blogger mistake.  So now there's real information there.

Don't forget to sign up so you don't miss out on the party!

String Piecing Magic
Maggie shared her string blocks she's been working on and the quilt she's trying to recreate.  I love string block so much because they are a great way to use up bits and pieces.  They also have no rules so you can use whatever strips you want, whatever size you want, and any colors you want.  There's something freeing about that.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!
