Fiber Tuesday 131

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  How was everyone's week? Last night at 11:45 I finished my mini quilt.  It went to the mail this morning and is now on it's way to Utah.  There's a picture below the jump of it.  It was my first mini quilt and it certainly is the last one I attempt in a week.

Here's the mini quilt.  The rules were pretty simple, use green, white, and/or gray to make a 12 inch mini quilt.

There are 106 half square triangles in this quilt.  Each one is 3/4" finished in the quilt.  I started this on Sunday last week and finished it yesterday so it took a full week to do.  Of course I had to work during the day but there are still a lot of hours in there.

Scrappy Quilt

Simply Summer linked up a preview of her scrappy quilt.  I love when someone gifts me with their fabric scraps.  People normally think I am nuts but just look at that variety!!  If I bought all that fabric Paul would have my head!  Plus I don't feel bad goofing scraps when I'm testing out new ideas.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!

  1. It probably would have taken me more than a week working with so many tiny triangles! They make a pretty pattern though! :)
