Fiber Tuesday 136

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  How was everyone's week?  I hope everyone survived the holiday, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday.  We finished the last of the turkey tonight for dinner so leftovers are done!  I'm not sure I can stomach any more turkey for awhile.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This post may contain affiliate links.  Ordering from my links cost you nothing and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

I have shared what I think will be trending in quilting this winter.  If you like color and floral you will love the fabrics that will be in shops soon.  There's some really bold patterns coming.

I also released a new "quilt block recipe", a no y-seam eight point star.  It's super easy to do and takes all the head scratching out of the eight point star blocks.

Scrappy Rag Rug

Maggie linked up this rug she made on her loom from fabric she couldn't use in a string quilt.  It must be that time of year as I have started gathering fabric for a rug too.  I am not lucky enough to have a loom though.  Maggie also gives us a peek at the quilt that was going on the frame.  Since music is such an important part of my life I swooned a little over it.  It's really a neat quilt.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!
