I really enjoyed making this block even with the oops on the circle. It's so easy to make I made this one on a treadle sewing machine.
Supplies
24 5" squares You could use leftover charm squares, scraps, whatever makes you happy. Each square gives you two blades. Cut 48 blades
17.5" square for your background. You want a neutral color for this. Mine is off white with little musical notes all over it.
Dresden Plate Ruler - The nice thing about the one I use, like the one I linked, is I can use it for other things like tumblers. I love dual duty items.
That's all you need!! I really think this is the shortest supply list we have ever needed. That's really how easy this block is to make. This is raw edge applique so we won't be doing any methods of rolling that edge under. So let's watch me treadle this block.
