Fiber Tuesday 142

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  How was everyone's week?  This last week has been pretty rough.  I am looking forward to heading to the basement tonight to spend some quality time with my machines and a whole lot of fabric that I got over the weekend from friends.  It's great having friends who do costuming for a living and they save their scraps for us.  I have so many ideas to put them to good use.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This post may contain affiliate links.  Ordering from my links cost you nothing and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

Paul is venturing out into the world of demonstrating how to use our various sewing machines. He started with one of our rarer machines the Singer 101.  It has a very interesting history that he fills you in on as well.

I started my series on the life of quilting fabric.  We are starting with how fabric designs are chosen. This is a series I have wanted to do for a long time and am thrilled to have found people in the industry who were willing to take the time to answer my questions.

Teresa linked up this cute doll diaper tutorial.  I know a lot of you got started sewing by sewing clothes for your dolls.  This might be a handy tutorial to pin so that when you have a young girl who is interested in sewing you can start her out the same way you did.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!
