Fiber Tuesday 183

Welcome back to Fiber Tuesday!  It is December!!  Holiday sewing is in full force, no matter when we start it seems like we are sewing until December 26th to get all the gifts done.  I have a few things to finish up but not a lot of sewing to be done.  I do have a few craft projects that I came up with over the weekend, it is just how my brain works.

Fiber Tuesday Link Party for all fiber crafts

This post may contain affiliate links.  Ordering from my links cost you nothing and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

We just have a few Fiber Tuesday's left before we call it quits.  It's been so much fun seeing what you are working on.  The cyber world is always changing and there just doesn't seem to be a draw for link parties like there used to be.  We had a good long run though.

Last week I shared one way that I use Quilt-Pro software. It is such a versatile piece of software that I use it all the time.  It's so much better than my old method.  I wanted to show people what I thought would be one of the big things for the average quilter, printing your own templates. P.S. I adore this fabric!

This week I got to review a Cricut Maker.  I took those templates we have, like the ones made with QuiltPro, and had my Maker cut them for me.  It makes life so much easier.  I've never been the smoothest cutter when not doing basic shapes so this has been a real game changer.

The Sassy Quilter linked up this cute star quilt top.  It is made from half a layer cake and a jelly roll.  How cool is that?  She's got a video in her blog post, click the picture, showing you how to put it together.  It's a great quicky pattern.

Now on to the link up.  Remember to check out each other and spread the love.  It is a party after all!
