Window Box Table Runner - It's A Garden Party Row Along

October 6, 2020

I'm so happy to share with you my row in the It's A Garden Row Along.  My row is a vertical making it a perfect stand-alone table runner.  The Window Box is made up of 1 block repeated 3 times.  There are no y-seams found in this block either!  I don't like y-seams at all.  Half square triangles and flippy corner flying geese are all you need to be able to make this block.  It really a quick and easy row to make.

If you are new to quilting please check out my tutorials on making half-square triangle blocks two at a time and flying geese.  Both have video tutorials that will help show you how we make the units in the window box. If you are not new to quilting feel free to use the methods that work best for you but note that you may need more or less fabric than the pattern calls for.

My pattern is free in my shop until October 14.  On that day it will go on sale for $4.99 so grab it now while it's FREE!  And as a thank-you for stopping by the shop during the row along use coupon code ROWALONG to get 10% all of your purchases.

This is a party so be sure to check out the others doing the row along.  They will have their own giveaways so be sure to get in on those too!  Also, be sure to thank our sponsors! Northcott fabrics generously donated fabric to many of us.  EQ is offering a 20% discount on all products with the exception of the EQ Academy.  Use coupon code GARDENPARTY20 to get your discount.  This is a great opportunity to grab EQ 8 software if you are wanting to design your own quilts.

Ready for the giveaway???  I have to give a huge thanks to my friends at The Fat Quarter Shop for providing a $20.00 gift card for my giveaway.
