Week 2 Seaside Adventure Row Along

We are on to our next batch of quilt designers for the Seaside Adventure Row Along.  I think you will really enjoy the rows this week.  We have two different fish rows and an adorable row of beach cabanas.  A cabana on the beach with an umbrella drink sounds like heaven.  Enough with the daydreaming let's start hopping around the quilting internet.

If you are new here you can see all the Seaside Adventure Rows here.  Each week another group of designers will be featured.  The rows are free the week they debut but after that week designers may charge for their rows.  If you don't want to miss out on any of the blocks be sure to sign up for the email blast so you know when the next week goes live.

This week we are visiting Scrapdash, Blue Heron Quilting, and Pumpkin Patch.  We've got some really cute blocks this week.

First up this week is Phobe Moon of Scrapdash.  She made these adorable cabanas.  The only thing missing is that umbrella drink I mentioned earlier.  Her row measures 12x30.  Don't forget to follow her on Instagram @krisdriessen and use the hashtag #scrapdash if you make her row.

Next, we are heading over to Althea at Blue Heron Quilting.  She made a school of fish and they are a great scrap buster.  Her row measures 12x18.  I just love the way you can make this row fit you.  Follow her on Instagram @blueheronquilting and use the hashtag #blueheronquilting.

Our last stop this week is at Beatrice's Pumpkin Patch.  Her row measures 12x30.  She titled her row One Fish, Two Fish and it automatically makes my brain say "Red fish, Blue fish".  I love Dr. Seuss and these fish are cute.  Be sure to follow her on Instagram @pumpkinpatchbc and use hashtag #pumpkinpatchbc

If you are looking for another quilt pattern blog hop be sure to check out this month's quilt block mania.  It is full of twisted traditional quilt blocks.  I made a Modern Churn Dash block.

Don't forget to share this post with your quilty friends!

  1. Mel,

I wanted to thank you for taking over the row along. I've been following Marian for many years and like so many others I'm deeply sadden at the loss of such a talented artist. I know it takes a great deal of time and effort to organize the event, so again thank you for all that you are doing.
