Week 4 - Fabric Scrap-Busting Blog Hop

I can't believe we are four weeks into this blog hop.  I really hope you are getting great ideas for using up those fabric scraps that are taking up space in your quilting room.  Because let's face it, the more fabric we use up, the more we can buy.  At least that is how I think about it.  Let's jump into what we are ideas we have for this week!

This post may contain affiliate links.  Purchasing items from the links cost you nothing more and adds a few pennies to the fabric budget.

We have new projects scheduled every Monday, January - March.  If you don't want to miss out on any of those great project ideas sign up for the email blast.  The emails will go out on Tuesday mornings just so I can ensure that links work.  No matter how well we plan tech seems to bite someone in the booty, including me.

Fabric Scrap Busting Projects

This week we are heading to Barbara's for lavender sachets.  When I saw this project I couldn't help but smile.  Sachets are what I learned to sew with.  My grandma thought they were needed in every drawer that held clothing and hanging off hangers in the closest.  Barbara isn't on social media.

Our next stop is here!  I'm doing another fabric scrap-busting year long project.  This time I'm doing a postage stamp quilt.  I tried to do this years ago but I gave up because I thought you had to use 1" squares.  You can make the squares any size you want.

Be sure to stop by both designers and let them know that you appreciate them doing this blog hop.  Also tell all your quilty friends about the great projects we have in the blog hop.  If you missed any of the past posts you can find them here

  1. I would love to join you in the Postage Stamp Quilt. I have ton's of 2 1/2" blocks already cut out that I need to get motivated to use up. Thank you for everything you do for us.
